How to play Whack-a-Mole
- Moles pop out of the holes for a short moment.
- Hit them before they disappear to score.
- Bombs also appear — hitting one costs you a life.
- Hit moles consecutively without missing to build a score multiplier.

Tips & strategy
- Watch the whole grid rather than tracking one hole.
- Golden moles are worth five times a normal one and stay up for less time.
- Do not click empty holes on Hard — misses break your combo.
- The keyboard numpad layout maps directly to the grid and is faster than a mouse.
Frequently asked questions
How does the combo work?
Every consecutive hit without a miss raises the multiplier by one, up to ×10. A miss or a bomb resets it to ×1.
What happens if I hit a bomb?
You lose one of your three lives and the combo resets.
Do moles get faster?
Yes. Pop-up duration shortens steadily, so late-game moles need near-immediate reactions.
